SEOUL, Dec 11 (Reuters) – Two workers died and two were missing and feared buried at a library construction site in the South Korean city of Gwangju on Thursday, after an iron structure at the site collapsed, Yonhap News Agency reported.

Authorities took out a body trapped in the building and found him dead, Yonhap said, citing the Gwangju fire agency.

The collapse occurred while concrete was being poured at the construction site, fire authorities told reporters at a briefing.

The rescue officials are struggling to remove concrete slabs and steel pipes that are believed to be burying the workers, a fire official said at the briefing.
