MILAN, Feb 27 (Reuters) – One person was killed and at least 20 were injured on Friday when a tram derailed in central Milan, according to a Reuters witness.

The tram came off the tracks in the afternoon in Vittorio Veneto street.

Five ambulances were at the scene, while civil protection teams set up a tent to assist the injured.

The local transport company ATM had no immediate comment.
