JUBA (Reuters) -South Sudan President Salva Kiir on Wednesday dismissed Vice President Benjamin Bol Mel, who had been widely rumoured to be his preferred successor, in a decree read out on state television.
Kiir also sacked the governor of the central bank and the head of the country’s revenue authority, the decree said.
