MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s government has filed a complaint against miner Grupo Mexico for not complying with remediation works after a 2014 chemical spill in a river in the north of the country, Environment Minister Maria Luisa Albores said on Thursday.
Speaking at a press conference, Albores said the spill in the Sonora River was not an accident.
