LIMA (Reuters) -Cuba’s Ambassador to Peru, Carlos Zamora, definitively left his post and the country following a meeting with Peru’s deputy foreign minister on October 28, the South American nation’s foreign ministry said on Friday.
The ministry did not say whether or when he would be replaced.
Separately, it also said it would seek a modification to an international conventional on seeking asylum, amid tensions with Mexico over its government granting asylum to a former prime minister.
