Dr Bhushan Kathuria has got remarkable success in operating a tracheostomy patient returning to normal breathing. Dr Bhushan Kathuria is a specialist in ENT, Thyroid & Oral cancer surgeries, and has a great track record of successfully operating many north India patients with exceptional complications.

Beside being a doctor, Dr. Bhushan Kathuria exemplifies compassion since he is not hesitant to bear the medical bills to cure serious illnesses that other doctors would probably avoid. One such patient was a 19-year-old boy Akshay.who had been treated for Japanese encephalitis by having a tracheostomy for 2.5 years. Four times De-cannulation attempts were made on him at various centers but without success. He was recommended to keep using a tracheostomy with a speaking valve after receiving no additional therapy elsewhere. As a result he was having breathing problems with occasional bleeding and also a higher risk of damaging his tracheostomy further. That is when Dr. Bhushan came to his rescue. The boy’s clinical, imaging, and bronchoscopic tests were performed at Dr. Bhushan’s facility. He was discovered to have grade 4 tracheal stenosis at the level of the tracheostomy stoma as well as significant granulation at the stoma site. Dr. Bhushan Kathuria and his team performed tracheal resection and reanastomosis on him successfully.

Several other patients with similar complications have been successfully operated by Dr. Bhushan Kathuria in his long professional career and his center is the only medical facility available in North India where cases of such intricacies are accepted and operated successfully.

Now Akshay is in fine condition and is having no problem breathing or speaking. He and his family members are so grateful to Dr. Bhushan that he is now no less than God to them. They almost lost hope when Akshay Was rejected by reputed medical centers & hospital in the north region because of the complex nature of the case but Dr. Bhushan Kathuria took the risk of not only operating him but also helping him lead a normal life today.
