It always seems impossible until it’s done. We all see beautiful dreams and plan to follow them. Life keeps throwing new challenges, bills keep on piling up, but still, some passionate souls don’t want to work just for the sake of making it through the day. In the same vein, Cedric Kashama was sure that he only had his passions and dreams with him to make him get through even the worst days of his life.
Kashama is a creative 3D artist yearning to explore his passion for colours and the future. He is a self-taught young artist who creates colorful content, whether it’s images or videos, to express himself through his creativity. Big things have a small start, and Kashama began his journey by making videos for Tiktok and YouTube with a plan to make vlogs for YouTube in the future. In due course, he realized that he was more inclined on the editing part and not filming. So Kashama took the first role by halting to make videos for Tiktok that garnered over 60 M views and began working full-time on futuristic 4D. His risk paid off when his first 3D video after 5 months garnered 300,000 views, and his second video with similar views and a title of 1.4 million views reassured the accuracy of his decision.
After an interview with Damso (Belgian-Congolese rapper), Cedric Kashama got an impactful life lesson that gave him a sense of being understood. More importantly, his words influenced him about the definition of success while following the path of passion. It made him realise that when he loves doing something, he has to do well and live with the same zeal and love in his mind. A turning point came when he decided to work instead of attending his class to earn money to buy a computer, enhance his work and learn about 3D. He realised that the decision to pursue his passion was not wrong, but to leave classes and shatter his parents’ hopes was unacceptable.
Kashama was determined to mend his decision by succeeding in life and make his dream a reality for the world to see, that his trust in his passion paid off. Life became more interesting for him when he challenged himself every morning and worked with dedication through the day to fulfil the challenge and dared to cross limits to shape the dreams for us to see, in the forms of dozens of collaboration requests with millions of views on his videos.
