Film and television actor Adil Feroz Khan recently said Bollywood and acting have always been a fascinating career. Born on 28 November 1996 and raised in Mumbai, the 24-year-old had a dream to be an actor. He was also one of the youngest in the country to operate a computer at the age of two, and was praised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and late minister, Pramod Mahajan. He was also reported about by major publications in 1998.
Adil is portraying a small but impactful role in the famous TV show Pratigya. He started his acting debut with the show and continued to be a part of the industry through works such as Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi, Yudh, Keshav Pandit, and movie Bhindi Bazaar among others.
Since he passed SSC in the year 2010 from Hansraj Morarji Public School, Andheri, Mumbai, Adil has strived to become a successful actor. So he worked at his father’s acting institute in the ‘City of Dreams’. Currently, Adil is pursuing his master’s in advertising from Bhavan College, Andheri West, Mumbai.
Regarding preparation for his roles, Adil Feroz Khan said acting is all about talking, understanding and learning about people. “Acting has always been the dream; it was very amazing to see people on stages and on screens,” he said.
In 2010, Adil forayed into films with Bhindi Bazaar Inc. Adil commented that it was a turning point in his life and has since never looked back. Adil had said stepping ahead with enthusiasm and hope, always lets one shine bright. Bhindi Bazaar Inc. changed his life, and even garnered him a fan following on Instagram.
Adil is now excited about theatrical and OTT releases. He started with theatre play ‘Autograph’ at Bhartiya Vidhya Bhavan, Mumbai. His next roles included Keshav Pandit serial for Balaji Production. On Zee Tv, he is part of Pratigya for Walkwater production. On StarTV, he is also part of Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna and Bairi Piya serials for Balaji Production. On Colors, he is part of Pyaar ka Bandhan serial, also for Balaji Production. On SonyTV, he is on Pavitra Rishta serial for Balaji Production.
He also features on Zee TV in a commercial ad for Manchester United Football Club, print shoot for Zoya Collection, and an episode of Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi on Star Plus and Mann Main Vishwas Hai (episode ‘Behrupiya’) for Sony TV.
His filmography includes Bhindi Bazaar Inc. (2011), Fredrick (2016), and Dedh Shane (Short Film). According to listings, Adil has also been part of the Yeh Jawani TaraRiRi promo on Channel V and dress modelling for Flipkart.
On his further plans, Adil said that he is eagerly looking forward to getting his dream role, in Bollywood.
“Bollywood, has been a dream for many budding artists, but the only way to crack is firm determination, preparation, self-confidence.”
Commenting about his experience during lockdown, Adil said Covid-19 has “made all of us know our self-worth and biggest lesson was to spend quality times with loved ones”. He also said, “I hope things will be under control very soon and I hope to get back to work.”
