Two Sambhal sisters arrested for their ‘obscene’ reels. Villagers are upset they got bail

Meharulnisha and Mehak, two sisters from a Sambhal village, have been on a quest for internet fame. Their humorous, innuendo and expletive-laden content on the mehakpari143 Instagram page has gone viral, regularly clocking over a million views. The Sambhal sister wanted fame by positing expletive and innuendo content on Instagram. The did not know how it offended villagers, and this will lead to their arrest. ThePrint’s Manisha Mondal reports.
