Scientists have recorded two black holes weighing in at approximately 140 times and 100 times the mass of our Sun merge, in what is being dubbed as the biggest black hole merger to ever be recorded. When they collided, the result was a behemoth, a 225‑solar‑mass black hole that shattered the previous record of about 142 solar masses.
