Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram slammed the VB-G Ram G Bill passed by Lok Sabha and claimed that PM Modi was always against MGNREGA and has now plotted its slow death. In an interview with ThePrint he also termed dropping Mahatma Gandhi’s name the “second assassination of Mahatma Gandhi,” and said that the Opposition plans street protests over this.
