Mohammad Arafat, Information Minister, in Sheikh Hasina’s cabinet spoke to the ThePrint on the eve of Sheikh Hasina’s prosecution by Bangladesh’s International Crime Tribunal.
Arafat said Mohammad Yunus has empowered jihadist forces within Bangladesh to capture every institution. Arafat said with a smiling face and malice in his heart, Yunus has destroyed the social fabric of Bangladesh and taken it away from the secular values of 1971.
He said the International Crime Tribunal has been compromised to enact a revenge drama on the daughter of the founding father of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He added after the judgement and in the days to come, protests not just by the Awami League but other poitical parties will intensify.
