As Pakistan issues war threat over Indus Waters,understanding the treaty India paused after Pahalgam

Pakistan’s former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on 11 August, issued a warning over India’s action on the Indus Waters Treaty following the Pahalgam terror attack. Calling India’s decision to pause the Indus Waters Treaty an attack on Indus Valley Civilisation & Culture, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said that Pakistan would have ‘no choice but to consider war if India’s action continues’.
