(Reuters) – Stability AI will lay off some of its staff as part of a restructuring process, according to a person familiar with the matter and an internal memo seen by Reuters on Thursday, weeks after founder Emad Mostaque resigned from his role as CEO of the AI startup.

Mostaque stepped down from the board of thee company that makes the Stable Diffusion image-generation tool in March, to pursue decentralized AI.
