Ukraine has been witnessing large protests across the country, the biggest since the 2022 invasion. It started with President Zelenskyy signing a controversial bill that made him an overnight villain from a wartime hero. With many of his erstwhile supporters turning against him and his detractors trying to exploit the opportunity as much as they could, merely hours ago late last night, President Zelenskyy reversed that controversial decision, and in that process saved his political career as well as the support of his international allies.
