Road crash leaves three dead in UP

Sonbhadra (UP), Feb 9 (PTI) Three persons riding a motorcycle were killed after it collided with a truck near Hinduari Tiraha area here, police said on Monday.

The three were returning home after attending a function on Sunday night when the accident occurred.

Circle Officer Randhir Mishra said the victims were identified as Dayashankar Singh Kushwaha (63), retired principal of Chandragupt Maurya Inter College, Madhupur, his brother Kamla Singh (67) and their relative Prem Nath (63).

Police rushed them to a medical college, where doctors declared them brought dead, Mishra said.
