Saharanpur (UP), Dec 9 (PTI) A mini truck rammed into people standing near a bus stand here, killing three people, including two students, on Saturday, police said.

SP (Rural) Sagar Jain told PTI that the mini truck hit several people at the Nagal bus stand, killing Lucky (17), Noman (20) and another unidentified person.

Both the students were on way to tuition classes, he said, adding police have sent the bodies for postmortem.

Angry over the incident, locals staged a protest alleging that their demand for an underpass or overbridge at the accident-prone site has been ignored for long.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the loss of lives in the accident.PTI COR SAB DV DV
