Palghar, Apr 10 (PTI) A Quality Council of India (QCI) team visited Palghar Zilla Parishad on Thursday to inspect various works under the Maharashtra government’s 100-day programme, an official said.
The team checked a gymnasium, library, toilet blocks, administrative rooms and other structures of the ZP, he said.
The team was given a presentation by Palghar ZP chief executive officer Manoj Ranade and additional CEO Ravindra Shinde, the official said.
This inspection by the QCI is important for maintaining transparency, ensuring efficiency and consistency in service quality in the functioning of the Zilla Parishad, the official added.
The QCI, established by the Union government in 1997, is the apex body responsible for operating the third party accreditation system in order to improve quality across sectors. PTI COR BNM
