Mumbai, Feb 28 (PTI) The Mumbai airport on Saturday issued a ‘NOTAM’ to state that it will not accept any flight for diversion until 8 am on Sunday amid the US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

The decision was taken due to the paucity of parking space at the airport with a number of flights returning to their origin or diverting to nearby airports, a source said.

Mumbai International Airport Ltd, the private airport operator, issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) “for not accepting any more diversions” at 9 pm, the source added.

At least 54 flights had been cancelled at the Mumbai airport till 5.45 pm on Saturday. PTI IAS RAM KRK
