Goa: John Distilleries said it has launched a gift-with-purchase campaign for its Paul John XO Grape Brandy, offering a bundled bottle and branded balloon glass aimed at premium retail and hospitality channels.

The company said Paul John XO is produced from Ugni Blanc and Bangalore Purple grapes and bottled at 46% ABV after more than ten years’ maturation in medium-toasted new French Limousin oak barrels. It described the spirit’s colour as deep golden amber and outlined nose, palate and finish notes — including fig, apricot, strawberry, liquorice, orange zest, cranberry, rum raisin, oak and natural caramel—while noting the tasting profile reflects the brand’s cask work.

A release said the package pairs one bottle with a clear balloon glass bearing the brand’s paisley motif in Indian blue with a gold rim, plus other brand elements such as a peacock design intended to enhance the gifting experience.

John Distilleries also highlighted Paul John XO’s recent awards, saying it won Gold at the John Barleycorn Awards (USA 2024) and Silver at the London Spirits Competition (2024), among other accolades. The release described Paul John XO as “India’s answer to Cognac and Armagnac.”

John Distilleries was established in 1996 by Paul P. John and that Sazerac Company is an active stakeholder. Paul John single malts are available in 49 countries and, collectively, the brand has won more than 350 international awards. The company did not provide retail pricing in the release. For further details, John Distilleries directed enquiries to its consumer communications channels.
