New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) Offering a wholesome spread of over 10 distinct varieties of mixed-rice delicacies, “The Great Awadhi Biryani Festival” is any Indian foodie’s dream come true.

The annual festival, held at Oudh 1590, Noida, is currently showcasing the rich heritage and flavors of Awadhi cuisine.

The menu boasts an impressive selection of biryanis — a dish made with layers of aromatic rice, meat or vegetables, fried onions, and green chillies — meticulously crafted to suit every palate.

“The Great Awadhi Biryani Festival at Oudh 1590 is a celebration of flavours, traditions, and the artistry of the authentic Awadhi culinary heritage. Each grain of rice carries the essence of history, the richness of spices, and the warmth from the King’s era.

“We are featuring 11 types of aromatic Biryanis this year as a part of the festival to satiate our patron’s appetite. It is an honour to present this exquisite symphony of tastes, a true ode to the royal delicacy that is called biryani,” said Kankan Pramanick, corporate chef, at Oudh 1590.

The wide array of lip-smacking biryanis include ‘Subz Yakhni Pulao’, ‘Sahi Subz Kofta Biryani’, ‘Murgh Yakhni Pulao’, ‘Shikari Hansa Handi Biryani’, ‘Sugandhi Murgh Biryani’, ‘Gosht Yakhni Pulao’, ‘Keema Biryani’, ‘Gosht Tehri’, ‘Awadhi Jhinga Biryani’, ‘Mahi Kofta Biryani’ and ‘Gomti Sugandhi Mahi Biryani’.

With prices starting from Rs 250, the festival presents an opportunity for biryani aficionados and food enthusiasts alike to embark on a culinary voyage through the royal courts of Awadh.
