Noida, Jun 27 (PTI) A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Noida’s Sector 2 on Friday morning, a fire department official said.

Thick smoke and flames coming out of the factory were visible from a distance.

Gautam Buddha Nagar’s Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Chaubey said information regarding the fire was received at 5:30 am.

Seeing the intensity of the blaze, fire tenders Ghaziabad, Hapur and Meerut were roped in along with private firefighting teams, he said.

No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident and the blaze has been doused, the CFO said.

“The fire was controlled by the team and due to their relentless efforts no casualty and injury have been reported. The reason for the fire is unknown,” he added.

Several videos of the incident also surfaced on social media. PTI COR NB NB
