New Delhi: The BBC was “fully co-operating” with Indian tax officials on a survey of the organisation’s tax status and affairs in India, the company told employees in an internal email on Wednesday.

“Questions about BBC’s structure, activities, organisation, and operations in India are within the remit of the investigation,” the internal note, sent by Liliane Landor, director of BBC World Service, and reviewed by Reuters, said.
