Amaravati, Oct 23 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said that the state is moving from ‘ease of doing business towards speed of doing business’.
Naidu, who is currently touring the United Arab Emirates (UAE), held meetings with top industry representatives in Abu Dhabi to attract investments to the southern state.
“Andhra Pradesh is moving from ease of doing business towards speed of doing business and Amaravati will be a hub for new opportunities and innovation,” a release quoting CM Naidu said.
The CM met Abu Dhabi Chamber Chairman Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi and G42 CEO Mansoor Al Mansoori.
The trade representatives said that they would visit Andhra Pradesh soon and explore investment possibilities, assessing opportunities across technology, infrastructure, innovation sectors, and understanding the state’s business-friendly policies, the release said.
Later, the CM met officials of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), where the company expressed interest in expanding its business footprint across India, it said.
Naidu explained investment prospects in the fuel sector, observing that Andhra Pradesh is a strategic location with a long coastline near southeast Asia and scope for petrochemical companies.
The CM embarked on a three-day tour of UAE on Wednesday to woo investments and invite industrialists to the forthcoming CII Partnership Summit in Vizag on November 14 and 15. PTI MS GDK KH
