New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, at New Delhi’s Hyderabad House Saturday.
The Sultan landed Friday for a three-day visit to India, his first state visit to the country, marking a significant milestone in diplomatic relations between the two nations.
During his visit, the Sultan visited the National Gallery of Modern Art in the national capital and was scheduled to join Modi for a luncheon Saturday.
Earlier in the day, he was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the fore-court of the Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Droupadi Murmu and PM Modi.
