New Delhi: The coronavirus-induced lockdown had halted domestic travel for two months, before the restrictions were eased on 25 May. However, the new rules regarding social distancing and personal protection to keep the virus at bay have drastically changed the process of security checks and surveillance at the airport.

From passengers wearing PPE kits, flight attendants distributing face shields to thermal screening at most checkpoints, the increased surveillance means a longer and more complicated airport and flight experience.
