Shillong: Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik hosted ‘At Home’ reception at Raj Bhavan in Shillong on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day.

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court Biswanath Somadder were also present on the occasion.

An ‘At Home’ reception is hosted by the President of India every year on Republic Day, where key dignitaries including the Prime Minister, Vice President, Defence Minister, and other Union ministers are present. In states, the event is hosted at the respective governors’ residences.
