I dont think the author here understands the problems the entire movie industry is facing….Disney merely had another successful year due to its Franchise’s….buy before that it was the smaller studio Paramount. But streaming is something all movie studios are facing and not just Netflix, but Amazon and apple are making movies to now. This is currently the wild west of a new era of streaming….it is estimated by IMBd and Hollywood reporter authors ( not to mention Forbes and Motely Fool) that it will take 10 full years of consolidation and innovation till it settles and see who the new top players are…especially as At&t has its streaming service HBO max out in the coming months and Comcast with Peacock which has NBC and Universal shows. It is not time to break up Disney…..not till we see what is going to happen with the rest. Till then…the peoples money will decide the rest
This is what puzzles me in India. What does it matter, if Disney is broken or not? The two countries are so far apart in everything that relevancy is more important to consider in tracking each other.
Dude said 21th Century Fox ?
