Let me give you a scenario. There is a woman walking at night alone. There is a auto driver around the corner. Now if he wants to have sex with her, then he should ask for consent. So he did it. She says no. But then it hurt his ego and he brutally raped her. He end up in jail and she recovered from the injuries and now she teaches people about sex-ed. Now as for the auto driver, his wife teaches his kid that you should respect women, don’t do shit like papa, and the kid understands. The moral, it all starts from your home. If parents Teach their kids to respect everyone, especially woman, then it might set them on track to a better life. We can agree on the fact that children below 6-7 years of age tend to remember thing or teaching throughout their life. Now not all parents are like this. They won’t care to teach their kids all this. And that’s where the problem lies. Sex ed is a little behind the line, first the parents need to teach to respect everyone, woman, men, everyone. The only thing govt can do is to enact strict laws against rapes and molestations. These 2 things are the most imp.
Sex ed is necessary, but it might not be effective against lowering rape counts.
My mom dad always taught me to respect woman. Never ever say anything bad to them. They are goddess.
Teach them good and strict laws are way forward.
