Utter foolishness of Indian institutions , Even after 70 years and 4-5 generations of Kashmirs after independence they have not been able to mainstream Kashmir who till 500 years back were fighting your enemies into Indian identity .Killing the Terrorist is short term solution, Every one should read expansion of Roman empire how they expanded between Germanic and British tribes and brought them under one roof.
True, that most of these politicians played both sides of the goal. With the Indian government for the sake of being in power, and with Pakistan sponsored terrorists for their survival. But now, if all the politicians of Kashmir are pro Pakistan, then how to fill the political gap in the state. Who will contest polls and win?
The only possible solution can be in Chinese style in such situations. Exchange of population. Settle nonkashmiris there and force local population to migrate to other states. And the safety and security of both, even with the use of brutal force.
Does this mean that even the pro lndia looking are not lndian supporters in Kashmir and lndian support is far less than it appears?
There has been hue and cry over abolition of article 370.This outrage wud have been credible if there had been normalcy during pre abolition period. Violence was there even when it was there what difference is going to make if it is abolished, may be enhanced violence which india can tackle with much vigour with no shackles in form of constant interference from state government authorities.
Wow you the print is not mainstream left wing media which loves licking peacefuls ashses?

The author Mr Mitra who also is Iyer should take over as CM of J&K immediately.
So what if they aren’t as pro-India as you would like. NC leadership is clearly anti-militant, while PDP is not entirely in the militant camp. That makes them better than the terrorists. Remember they have no where to turn to in Kashmir as their lives are at risk. So regardless of what they believe, India is their only realistic alternative. There is no need to demonize them. Even among separatists there are those who are violent Islamic fundamentalists and those who are more moderate. To tar everybody with the terror tag or the militant tag is foolish and self defeating.
A terrorist sympathiser is a terrorist, violent or moderate don’t work.
Farooq,Omar, Mehbooba are and always were Pakistani sympathisers and in close association of terrorists making their task easier and spewing and inciting voilence causing harm to our country. They should be tried for treason and let them rot in jails if not hanged for conniving with the enemy of state.
