Dear Panner, You are an unalloyed panegyrist of MK. You silence on the corruption makes you an unadulterated partisan which is not the true hall mark of unbiased journalist. The Hindu where you work is anti Hindu. You are timing your adulations with a clear agenda. But that will not work. The whole world knows that if TN today is the fountain head of corruption, the entire credit should go to the Leader whom you unashamedly extol. The reservation that Dravidian parties introduced has never helped people at the bottom of the pyramid. It has only helped to perpetuate the caste divide in our society because for every application for entitlement onone has to indicate his or her caste. Had he based his affirmative action based on economic criterion, all the people at the bottom of the pyramid would have been totally covered, eliminating the stranglehold of entrenched oligarchy in the reserved class. The he would not do because he was entirely anti Brahmin and his whole attempt was to keep the Brahmins out of every thing and not to promote the downtrodden. Did he succeed in emasculating Brahmins? No, Brahmins are like jews – and they will survive anywhere and every where – and the caste divide, the bane of the Hindu society till stays. Similarly his iconoclastic attitude towards Hindu culture is dead and buried – it is his followers who are flocking the temples and not Brahmins. You are the Ombudsman – a judicial position that you hold – and therefore show semblance of impartiality.
