Ranveer Allahbadia’s comment is crass, gutter-level humour. But FIRs and criminalising offensive jokes aren’t the solution. He has been publicly condemned, has apologised, and the video has been removed. The matter should rest here. There’s no need to flood the zone. It’s a matter of individual conscience, not state enforcement.
