Former Army chief Gen Naravane hit the bull’s eye when he said that without a National Security Strategy in place, talking of ‘theaterisation’ is like putting the cart before the horse. It’d be prudent to first focus on challenges and wars the country foresees than brazenly push ahead with theaterisation.
