Trump’s dismissive comment about India-Pakistan going ‘tit-for-tat’ at each other should force us to introspect. An aspiring big power such as India should leave no scope for tit-for-tat. It only opens up the room for a foreign country to come and mediate. It can amount to a loss of face.
