Peshawar, Jul 19 (PTI) At least five terrorists were killed and three officials, including a Pakistan Army officer, were injured during a joint counter-terrorism operation by police and security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday.
Two police officials and a major rank army officer were injured during the operation launched following credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the Shinawari Zargari area of Hangu district, police said.
A police official said the injured were moved to the hospital for medical treatment.
The official said the operation was still ongoing in the area.
