New Delhi: Almost a week after the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act was passed by the Narendra Modi government, the new law continues to trend on Twitter, with protests being reported from all corners of the country.
In a thread of tweets by BJP’s official handle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a word of advice for his “young friends”, the students of colleges and universities protesting across India — that they should protest “democratically”.
मेरा देश के कॉलिजों और विश्वविधालयों के युवा साथियों से भी आग्रह है कि आप अपने महत्व को समझें, जहां आप पढ़ रहे हैं उन संस्थानों का महत्व समझें।

Did actor Huma Qureshi just compare the Indian government to Nazi rulers?
A democratically elected Govt that creates laws against its own people is following the Nazi Germany model clearly. This government has failed the people of this country. See what is happening on the streets . India is protesting ?? You cannot divide us https://t.co/5toqbTkSOS

AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi launches a direct attack on the Babri masjid play in Karnataka.
Bitter adults are poisoning the minds of little children.
It is agonising to see CHILDREN mimic the hate that we have only received from adults.
The lessons we will give to our children will only be about building bridges, not tearing them aparthttps://t.co/AwnL4IJPQo

BJP’s Amit Malviya calls the two women of Jamia ‘indoctrinated Islamists’. You just took it too far, Mr. Malviya.
It seems the two women paraded to the world by a section of the Lutyens media as face of Jamia protests are rabidly indoctrinated Islamists. Their several Facebook posts and affiliations to radical organisations raises several questions on those handling and interviewing them…
