New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s resignation as the president of the Indian National Congress has left Twitter shook, eliciting responses that are mostly in line with expectations.

Sanjay Jha, national spokesperson of Congress, was all praises for Rahul Gandhi and thanked him for persevering against all odds. He is still a member of the party, sir, don’t worry!

Never the one to miss out on anything, the Karnataka BJP handle had its own spin on the Congress president’s resignation. Rest assured, we are saving this tweet.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, general secretary of the Congress party, was ever the supporting sister as Rahul Gandhi stepped down. She said few have the courage he does. We think all of us could do with such support in our lives.
