New Delhi: There was only one big winner on Twitter: AAP’s victory in the Delhi elections had reactions from across the political spectrum although the normally active BJP spokespersons, seen explaining the defeat in TV news studios, were curiously silent on social media. AAP seems too busy with celebrations to bother about tweets.

BJP’s national vice-president Uma Bharti, however, has her own unique interpretation of the Delhi polls results and ‘Chhatrapati Modi’. Did the results not reach her?

BJP’s most popular Twitter troll, Tajinder Singh Bagga, who lost in the Delhi elections, consoles himself with some poetry.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya found that the BJP was ‘done and dusted’.

Political strategist and former JD(U) member Prashant Kishor, who led the AAP’s election campaign in Delhi, is all soul in his gratitude.

Onto other parties: since the Congress brought home a zero, it has decided to celebrate AAP’s victory instead.

Congress leaders Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sanjay Nirupam send out heartfelt congratulations.

However, Congress spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill is more concerned for his party: he lists out the ‘NOT TO DOs’ for the Congress.

Congress’ national spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi also has some advice on reviving the party and it has something to do with Sheila Dikshit.

Author Chetan Bhagat has an interesting piece of advice for Congress — will it accept his idea?

Here is a joke the Congress will definitely not find funny.

Felicitations have been pouring in for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from other opposition leaders as well. The list includes two prominent chief ministers: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. DMK President M.K. Stalin also congratulates Kejriwal while NCP’s Sharad Pawar puns on the “sweeping” victory.

Bollywood is not far behind — here are congratulations and celebrations led by filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who draws a moral lesson from victory and defeat.

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has a confession — and an apology for Kunal Kamra.

And far, far away, President Donald Trump is set to visit India later this month. Writer and journalist Tunku Varadarajan cannot fathom why he is being taken to Ahmedabad, a ‘booze-free’ city.

Lastly, AAP is not the only one celebrating: Watch India Today‘s anchors poll dance after their AXIS exit poll predicted the mandate most accurately.

And a final say to the ‘mufflerman’.
