New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is soliciting ideas for his radio-TV broadcast, ‘Mann Ki Baat’. What about the Chennai water crisis, floods in Assam and Bihar and the building collapse in Mumbai, sir?

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra demanded answers from the Uttar Pradesh government after an NSUI leader was suspended for protesting against the dissolution of the Allahabad University Student Union. Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy accused the ruling party of helping politicians, including former BJP minister C.P Yogeshwar, escape from a probe in the IMA fraud case. The Karnataka unit of the saffron party hit back with a few choice words about his crumbling coalition government.

There seems to be no end in sight to this Congress-BJP war in Karnataka.
