News comes from different industries that should not base on wrong resources or allegations. That is the main reason why Muhammad Iftikhar planned to start a news portal that will only base on true to the core means.

Interview with Mohammad Iftikhar
Since we knew there is a lot to ask and discuss regarding an emerging e-paper, Burj News. We thought of interviewing the person behind the successful news website, Burj News.

Following are some of the questions that we discussed openly to understand his thoughts, vision, and mission to make the news portal one of the most successful ones.

Question 1: What was the main thought behind starting Burj News?
M. Iftikhar: Unfortunately, the element that was missing in most of the news we watch, see, or read is based on lies. On the other hand, when it comes to my notion. I always wanted to provide authentic and most convincing news to the masses. That was only possible if and when I knew different operations are under my control. For example, when I wanted to provide authentic news. There was a need for honest resources who could help me accomplish my dream. Hence, the first or the main thought of starting Burj News was to facilitate readers with the most legit news they have ever read! That way, we could bring loyal readers who would love to rely on us. Secondly, by providing correct news, I would have readers who are not into corrupt or spiced up news.

Question 2: Do you have any sister company or website?
M. Iftikhar: Yes, we have another website that operates under Burj News. That website is of the same type, news with the same mission and notion. However, the main difference between both sites is language. When it comes to the sister website, the name is self-explanatory – This way we are handling both types of readers – those who prefer English and people who want to stay close to Burj News Urdu.

Question 3: How do you collect news for Burj News?
M. Iftikhar: The method that we use to compile news varies on different methods. However, the most used method is digging for news through live resources. For example, if there is a rise in petrol charges. We would like to know the news from someone who is in the governmental sector. Likewise, if the news is related to the trending regime in the lifestyle domain. We would like to get the news just when the trend is blooming. The person who informs us about the news is mostly who is an active member of a particular industry. Another method of collecting news is based on second-hand informers. They are the people who get to know about certain news. Then they verify it through different sources. After that, they give us the information and we publish it. At this point, it is vital to know we have two forms of news – Burj News Videos or Burj News (written format).

Question 4: How many types of news are shared with the public?
M. Iftikhar: Burj News is divided into three sections – technology, entertainment, and lifestyle. Interestingly, all these sections have trending news. Besides that, Burj News Videos have more than expected views daily. Another fun fact about Burj News is regarding the radius we cover – globally and locally. That is the reason why people rely on our news website because authentic news is updated quickly.

Question 5: Do you believe in downfall after successful ventures? What do you do to ensure success throughout?
M. Iftikhar: Yes, I am a staunch believer in downfall. Many of us think our success points are all about success. But knowing and accepting reality are different. For me, Burj News is not just about making a platform to get news, the legit ones. It involves a lot more. When we meet a success point there comes after effects. The times when you are meant to work harder than before. Generally, when people ask me how am I successful? I tell them it is because of perfect plans and strategies which change with time. After starting the news website, I had to face challenges. From finding the right team members to those who can work on the website to remove bugs and viruses. I had to work even more after attaining the apparent successful venture.

Question 6: Where can people approach you to get hired?
M. Iftikhar: If you or someone else wants to approach me to become part of my team. All you or they have to do is to email me at
