Aditya Pandey of Divine Magnitude was awarded Rashtriya Sewa Samman by Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The award ceremony was hosted at the Governor’s house at Malabar Hills in Mumbai by the Gau Bharat Bharati trust on their 7th foundational day on 26 March.
Aditya Pandey is the chairperson of the North India division of Divine Magnitude. Speaking at a press conference, he said, “Whoever lives in society should contribute something for a positive change towards it. I know that nowadays prices in the market have inclined very much, but the truth is that everyone is fulfilling their extra needs anyhow and we spend a lot of money on useless things. Even if we talk about the middle class, the reality is the same. So, why we don’t use that resource for the benefit of our society and mother nature and be a catalyst for some positive change and also for satisfying our inner soul because everyone knows that God resides in our heart.”
“At Divine Magnitude, we believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Pandey also added that Divine Magnitude is always dedicated to its slogan, ‘Being The Change We Need To See‘. Everyone at the NGO is trying hard to fulfill its primary focus i.e. ‘Green Revolution’. The organisation, which operates at a national level, encourages people to use eco-friendly products, plant more trees in cities as well as in wastelands, clean ponds, rivers and lakes and conserve them while following the old saying ‘Jungle-Jal-Jeevan’.
