Senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan had raised an objection to the lawyer for the All India Hindu Mahasabha showing a pictorial map of Lord Ram's birthplace.

Without the leave of the Court, one cannot introduce new evidence which was not before the trial court, in this case Allahabad HC. But, Rajiv Dhavan’s conduct of tearing up the additional evidence is unbecoming of a senior counsel, that who is a septagenerian. He has disgraced his age and his profession.
