60 Kms of the stretch between New Durgawati to New Sasaram in Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor was inaugurated and trains were run but later discontinued due to issues of level crossing.

This is the real fun of politicking! DFC as a project was conceived by DR Manmohan Singh within two years of coming to power. The overall project envisages a series of development of industries along western and eastern corridor. Funding was also tied up and the most complex aspect of the project I. e land acquisition was completed by 2013.
In fact after that execution should have been completed in maximum 4 years. It’s strange that even after 6 years the project is hardly 30%done and should be treated as a major failure. The fun is success is being claimed!
As against DFC, Modiji envisaged a completely useless project of bullet train at a whopping cost. It is as if a poor man buys a Mercedes instead of bying a truck useful for incresing income. But the bhakts are hardly ever expected to understand. And that’s the secret of success of Modiji’s successful politics.

Length of frieght trains to be almost double, so 2 times.
And goods will be double decker. So again 2.
And weight capacity to be increased from 22 tons to 25 tons pwr axel. 1.136 times.
Total 3*2*2*1.136 = 13.632 times
That is development.
