Rahul Gandhi is a fifth-generation politician from the Nehru-Gandhi family, a senior Congress leader and party MP from Wayanad in Kerala.
His entry into politics happened in 2004 when he decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the family seat of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He subsequently won three times from there but lost to the BJP’s Smriti Irani in 2019. However, Rahul Gandhi, remained an MP because he won the election from Wayanad. He became the Congress party chief in 2017 but quit from that post after the Congress’ disastrous show in the 2019 General Elections. Cutting across months of 2022, 2023 and 2024, Rahul Gandhi has taken out two yatras — the 3,750-km Bharat Jodo Yatra (from Kanniyakumari to Srinagar) and the 6,700-km Bharat Jodi Nyay Yatra (from Thoubal in Manipur to Mumbai).

So called intellectual and analyst from this wholy leftist media group expose themselves by creating a world of their own and trying to help propagate that shit during election campaign.
Such a blot in name of independent and fair journalism.
People of India gave tight blow in May 2019
President will have no work as exit pools have already installed Modi as next PM. Don’t think exit pool would not turn as Exit Fool on 23 May
At 10.40 pm on the 19th May, this writer is living in a cocoon, TOTALLY unaware of a phenomenon known as ‘Exit Polls’ that all of India had just FINISHED watching by 8 pm ????????
Autor may want to delete this article, he is looking might silly now 🙂
Lol to this article… Big lol as this looks a paid article and another thing,, not done homework before writing such big article that exit polls show majority of NDA and BJP.. so guys improve knowledge and dont b against a person in personal… See u cant see the work v can understand, u r jealous of his hard steps v can understand bt plz keep your morals ahead of yr self grint… Good bye..
Mr Kovind was hand picked by Modi himself and Mr Kovind is a RSS member, a Hindu fugitive and believe in identity politics. May be Kovind is president but his top boss is Narendra D Modi. Kovind is bound to kiss the feet of Modi. Kovind is a wooden doll of Modi Gov.
Dear sir, I understand you have no love for the President! But a minuscule any amount of respect for the office would do no harm.
but what makes you think , it will be a hung parliament ?
With all due respect, I find this article creating disrepute to the office of President. I’ve always appreciated The Print’s style of putting uncensored opinions, taking no sides. But the opinion that says ‘President will have to pay his debt to Modi’ is simply scandalous. A president isn’t chosen by one person and neither he is president of one person. The moment he assumes the office, he has to act impartial. And that has been a trend , custom or anything you may say. So I request you to either make substantial changes to the article or I shall report it to the President’s office.
This is a paid write up or opinion, whatever you want to call it. Far from the truth. Far from the reality. Imaginative. Fictitious.
If one may say this with the most profound respect, the President should have no occasion to exercise discretion, for the identity of the next government to bear the stamp of his substantive – as opposed to titular – authority. Assuming that the verdict is badly fractured, leaving room for endless permutations and combinations, all that commerce and deal making should take place far beyond the sylvan surroundings of Rashtrapati Bhavan. An invitation to form the next government should not become the basis on which a majority can be engineered. 2. After the experience of 1996, the concept of single largest party has no meaning. Signed letters of support, aggregating to 272, should be tendered to the President’s office. Before that stage is arrived at, leaders of various parties could be granted an audience. Many institutions have wobbled, not this one.
