President Ram Nath Kovind had undergone a health check-up at the Army Hospital (R&R) following chest discomfort Friday. He was shifted to AIIMS Saturday.
The President thanked all doctors, nurses who are successfully implementing the largest vaccination drive in history and urged all eligible citizens to get vaccinated.
Noting that scientists have warned of similar challenges in the future, President Ram Nath Kovind said he hoped the world has learnt the right lessons from Covid-19.
In his address in Parliament Friday, Kovind mentioned the Kisan Rail project of the railways which was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Budget 2020.
In his customary address to the joint sitting of Parliament on the first day of the Budget session, Kovind also said violence on Republic Day was 'very unfortunate'.
