You know what — even if he was the greatest saint of Hindus, and there was a murder case against him against a challenger, the man should have been in jail. Is writer trying to say this man did anyone a favour by reaching out to Dalits? And are sexual wrongdoings and murder erased by “reaching out to Dalits”? Are we in Stone Age? The Church has started cleaning up its sexual offenders. Hindus better pest-control these Swami types. Murder is tricky ofcourse. The ruling party president is charged with murder too. But obviously Indians don’t think murderers should be in jail. So the 82 yr old escaped Scot free. He was clearly useless in resolving Ayodhya considering noone was listening to him. All in all, an average ordinary life. Nothing worth remembering, except scampering and begging Dalits to stay in the fold after exploiting them.
