The obsession with Virgin goes back 15/7/17 and earlier when Richard Branson told a Sydney newspaper that Qantas CEO Alan Joyce was pushing the Abbott government to backing Qantas to flood the market with flights to drive Virgin out of business. Little has changed, possibly the chairman of the ACCC Mr Rod Sims now aware of Qantas rekindling unwarranted comments as “unhelpful ” towards Virgin Australia will be monitored. Both airlines can share the skies, Virgin have a dedicated team and love their jobs. Bully boy tactics are not part of the Australian public expectations, so if Qantas keep digging, they well have no credibility or support.
Poor generalism as always from the print. They dont even check the facts of the story. Indigo airline india is not interested in buying virgin. The group of company called indigo partners llc is the one which is interested. Kindly stop fake news and verify facts before posting. Also the author of this article should be questioned.
