AAP fortunes have fluctuated in past 7 years, with the party receiving a high of Rs 54.14 cr as donations in 2014-15 and a low of Rs 2.02 cr in 2012-13.
Since AAP's loss in Lok Sabha polls, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has adopted a conciliatory tone towards Modi govt, has even thanked it for some decisions.
Alka Lamba, the Chandni Chowk MLA who has been at odds with AAP's leadership for some time, said she took the decision after consulting with people from her constituency.
The external survey, which comes after AAP drubbing in Lok Sabha polls, will look at acceptability, knowledge, reputation of MLAs in their constituencies.
Neither state govts nor companies earn large profits from lotteries. However, a look at the system shows there’s ample evidence of murky dealings and financial irregularities.
In an interview with Gulistan News this week, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the government would leave law and order to J&K Police and slowly withdraw troops.
The ‘idea’ Kejriwal's politics grew around was a no-holds-barred fight against corruption. That is the reason Modi govt has now tarred him and his entire party with the same paint.
Arvind kejriwal simply focus on governance and infrastructure that is already provide by congress party. He should focus on many other issue like traffic jams public transportation and pollution. These are the big issue. public health and education is is long term target. It can not acheive in single day. India demand morden education and hi class medical facilities. For this I think ayushman scheme can help people for quality medical facilities. I visit mohalla clinic and govt schools. They can help labour type people even a medical store prescribe medicine better than this and in schools no of student can not able to write their name.
Arvind Kejriwal will most probably loose to BJP, not because he has not done good work but his portfolio of work is not very different from the conventional politician, though like the author says ,he is much different from a conventional politician.
I Personally Feel that Arvind ji Has Done Some Good work in Delhi Due to Which Delhi People Find Him too as a better Option for Delhi Goverance
From Our past Mistakes we have Learned That Never and Ever A Single Party Should be Given a Total Weightage.Leaders Like Arvind ji Should be Always be There as a Better Option to look Upon.
Dear zainab I follow you on twitter but it seems that you wrote a very unprofessional article this time.. It seems your unaware of ground realities.. Better be well prepared before writing such an article.. Do your homework properly before writing such pathetic articles.. Dont spoil your image.. Thank you.. I really don’t know you were sleeping or what while writing such articles
Burnol moment for poor Hitesh, the author didn’t write what he wanted her to write. Sad.
This prediction is so out of whack! AK and AAP are fighting an election against the richest party in the country and the writer expects them to go to the fight with kid gloves. My only advise to AAP is to use self promotion, brand building, media manipulation, emotion and every trick in the book to WIN the election. Anybody that says otherwise should donate a billion dollars to AAP legitimately so they don’t have to do it that way!
The print how can you decrease your standards… I know money is required to run your so called theprint.in. but it doesn’t mean u ll decrease your standards this much.. Delhi people are favouring AAP party.. they know what works has been done…
Mr. Zainab you are not professional yaar seeing the views what you wrote is disappointing me (money minded)..
The author must be liking the congress as she was concentrating on finding faults with AAP than talking about the good work of the party. Maybe they are longing for the congress to come back to power and enjoy their perks which they are not getting from the centre now as they have been anti centre.
The problem with Kejriwal is that his policies are exactly like Congress, with the added promise that AAP will do away with corruption. He has failed to deliver on corruption and in terms of competence he is nothing compared to Sheila Dikshit. As far as transportation and environment is concerned, he has been one of the worst. It would be better for AAP to merge with Congress and for them to take on BJP together. If AAP cadres still believes in fighting corruption, they will be more effective from within the larger confines of a national party like Congress.
You have got to be kidding me – Kejriwal’s appeal amonsgt the people of Delhi has anything but waned – the article smacks of partisanship and paints a completely false picture of the electoral situation in Delhi – Are there no journalistic, editorial standards? I have come across many articles on the Print which bear little resemblance to reality but instead seem to be forwarding someone else’s agenda – Pls do your job with responsibility and integrity
I completely agree. The author wants to save congress more than the good work done by AAP
Schemishly biased article which would look like a neutral if one could go through the whole things.
Apart from last paragraphs, rest of the article only states the past political nature of Arvind Kejriwal, only a few lines on his governance being different and good..
Didn’t like the approach of the article.
Arvind kejriwal is a new type of politician which is largely needed in today’s politics as an alternative.. Aap party is flooded with professional from around the world who left their careers.. In my opinion Kejriwal is going to play a big role in future politics…. You have to look at the modi and kejriwal they actually have similar stories.. Modi before becoming a famous political fees he was silently helping BJP to rise in politics he was involved in many works within the party later on went on to become Chief Minister of Gujarat after that so how he was Bill troubled constantly by the Congress government when is 13 years of governance in Gujarat similarly you can see Kejriwal is been trouble by the Modi government even Kejriwal later big roll RTI and other social movements before joining politics just become CM bahut hi usse Mila stories of being harassed by the central government a lot about his future in politics which I think will play a big role in shaping India if he survives the current type of politics

On the ground mood of the public in Delhi says something else, never expected such flawed analysis and commentary from Zainab, really disappointed.
