The researchers studied health insurance plan records to identify persistent or new conditions starting 21 days after a covid diagnosis in 133,366 individuals aged 65 or older in US.
Active cases declined to 8,92,828, with a reduction of over 1 lakh cases in the caseload in a span of 24 hours. While the daily positivity rate was recorded at 4.54%, health ministry said.
