In episode 616 of ‘Cut the Clutter’, ThePrint’s editor-in-chief Shekhar Gupta elaborates on the ‘paranoia’ among ‘secular parties’ over the rise of the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM in Bihar.
Owaisi said that the dispute between Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh & Shahi Idgah Trust was settled in 1968; he questioned the revival of the dispute.
The AIMIM chief said the CBI should appeal against the judgment to protect its independence and stated that he will urge the AIMPLB to appeal against it.
Owaisi's AIMIM has made little to no dent in the 'secular' parties' votes in 2014 & 2019 Maharashtra assembly polls, 2015 Bihar polls, 2017 UP polls and 2019 Jharkhand polls.
Peter Manuel's ‘Cassette Culture’ showed the booming Bhakti music during the '80s and '90s when Anoop Jalota, Gulshan Kumar achieved success by singing the sanitised Bhajans.
Economists say there are weaknesses in India’s GDP data. But statisticians claim the accusations are based on flawed understanding, saying while GDP has problems, the economists are looking in the wrong places.
If the so called “Secular” parties want the votes of Muslim citizens, they need to canvas their support, acknowledge their contribution, speak to their concerns, integrate them into their organisations and elevate them to positions of leadership. If they don’t, they must expect Owaisi-like figures to fill the void.
Nothing but justifying the defeats of so called secular parties and of course personal views nothing to do with facts. god bless u with ur views and ignorance.
It’s double whammy for secular-politicians. First, the Hindus dubbed them as Muslim-appeasers. Now, the Muslim that latch on to Owaisi consider them as pariahs. So, secularists are deserted by both Hindus and Muslims. For the W.Bengal Muslims, religion may come first, then the language. So, it is better for secularists to make truce with the belligerent Owaisi.
I heard some speeches from Mr. Owaisi and good thing about this guy is he always refers constitution of India.
He must be careful about the people around him including his brother.

Akbaruddin represents the moral and ideological reasons for the party to exist.
It’s important to understand that the onslaught will happen it’s just a matter of time.
